Truth in Focus Site Updates & Changes

This page provides a public record of meaningful additions, fixes, and changes to Truth in Focus. Minor spelling, formatting, security, and routine maintenance changes may not be individually listed.

Record Room update: We have added the U.S. Department of Justice’s September 17, 2015 Ramah settlement announcement to our growing source collection. The announced $940 million was a proposed nationwide tribal settlement, not a documented payment to any one tribe. We are continuing to review public records and financial decisions connected to the Northern Cheyenne Legacy Fund, separating verified facts from unanswered questions.

Work in progress: We are organizing source links and improving the Record Room while continuing to verify documents. Some working materials remain private until they are suitable for public release. Explore the Record Room.

AI and editorial transparency: Published a detailed explanation of our developing Bullcoming AI research workflow, independent source checking, human editorial review, outside-news attribution and community contributions. Our Code of Ethics and About section now link to the AI, Sources & Editorial Transparency policy. No automated fact-checking or publication capability is being claimed.

Community reporting and advertiser resources: Truth in Focus continues preparing printable introductory materials and affordable local advertising options focused on Ashland, Lame Deer, Busby, and nearby communities. Current introductory website ad rates are available on the advertising rate sheet. Advertising supports free-to-read reporting, public-record requests, printing, and hosting; sponsors do not control editorial coverage.

On the Record: New historical reading and education reflections are being reviewed as draft commentary. They are not yet published.

Website work in progress: The next newspaper-style homepage, compact missing-person spotlight, and related-article navigation are being prepared separately for review. The public homepage has not been replaced.

Daily Ten: Updates and sourcing are under review. The next edition will be published only after editorial approval.

October 7, 2026

Election 2026: Added a central Election 2026 hub and separate reporting for Montana elections and the Northern Cheyenne Tribal Council election.

Editorial transparency: Added an Editorial Independence & Program Separation page to distinguish Truth in Focus News from advocacy, community, educational, and other Bullcoming Enterprises programs.

Weather: Expanded the local weather feed to include Colstrip alongside Ashland and Lame Deer, and added a dedicated Weather page with National Weather Service links.

Record Room: Expanded federal-archive coverage, including BIA, DOI, congressional, GovInfo, Federal Register, and National Archives source paths.

Local information: Added a dated local fuel-price reporting format so readers can distinguish observed station prices from statewide averages.

Truth in Focus will continue to document larger public-facing changes here.
