Truth in Focus Reviewing New Video and Records From Sept. 30 Gene Small Removal Proceeding
LAME DEER, Mont. — Truth in Focus has obtained additional public video recordings and documents concerning the Sept. 30 removal proceeding involving Northern Cheyenne Tribal President Gene Small.
The material includes livestream footage from the Little Wolf Capitol Building and video of the later removal proceeding. Truth in Focus is reviewing those recordings alongside the written hearing procedures, constitutional provisions, public notices and related records to establish a documented chronology of what occurred before, during and after the proceeding.
The review will focus on what the records establish concerning notice, hearing location, participation, the opportunity to respond, the removal vote and subsequent transfer of presidential authority.
Because the review is ongoing, Truth in Focus is not drawing final conclusions at this time. Additional records have also been requested from individuals involved so that competing accounts can be compared against the documentary record.
