Truth in Focus has launched The Record Room, a separate public-record archive at records.truthfocus.net designed to make source documents easier to find, search, and review.
The Record Room is an independent Truth in Focus archive. It is not a government agency, court, records custodian, or official repository. Its purpose is to preserve and organize publicly available records and source materials used in reporting, while clearly identifying what each document is, where it came from, and what remains unverified or incomplete.
What is in the archive now?
The initial collection includes publicly available Northern Cheyenne constitutional and legal materials, Tribal Council resolutions, court and hearing records, BIA-related records, and other source documents already available to the public online.
Among the records currently indexed are the Northern Cheyenne Constitution and Bylaws, the revised Law and Order Code adopted in 2025, Resolution DOI-109 concerning open Council meetings, hearing-procedure materials, removal and acting-presidency resolutions, and related court or federal records.
Why build a separate archive?
News stories summarize events. The Record Room is meant to let readers go one step deeper and examine the underlying record for themselves. It also gives Truth in Focus a place to preserve source material without turning every news article into a document dump.
The archive includes search and browsing tools, source-policy information, and a page for proposed legislation. Entries are organized around records and source material already available to the public online, with source information included whenever possible.

Truth in Focus will continue expanding the archive beyond the current Northern Cheyenne governance collection to additional local, regional, historical, public-service, education, infrastructure, and government records as materials are obtained and reviewed.
